Senior Sales Manager

Due to expansion, our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally, you would be experienced in selling Doors/ Joinery Products or have worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector it would also be an advantage to have a good understanding of the construction sector. This position is for an experienced individual who can establish & build relationships at the Senior level.Reporting to: Managing DirectorAs Senior Sales Manager, you will be working along with the estimating & sales team to promote the company's products to exciting sectors including Local Authorities, Councils & Social Housing & Housing Associations.Key Responsibilities as Senior Sales Manager
* Contract Negotiations
* Staying updated with Industry Trends
* Agreeing and setting up framework agreements
* Quoting and costing customer requirements
* Understanding customer needs and requirements, researching accounts, identifying key players.
* Prospecting & lead generation
* Building and maintaining relationships and winning enquiries & ultimately the businessKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required as Senior Sales Manager
* Proven experience in sales

Knowledge of Fire Doors & Fire Door Certification
* Experience dealing with Local Authorities / Governments negotiating and setting up Framework Agreements.
* General Construction knowledge essential & knowledge of the Construction sector
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Effective communication skills
* Customer-focused with sound commercial skills.
* Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft OutlookLocation/Area MidlandsSalary Competitive remuneration package
