Closing date: 29/04/2024Location: Sheffield, South YorkshireDivision: Chesterfield Special CylindersReports: Sales DirectorSalary: £45,000 - £49,500An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Engineer at Chesterfield Special Cylinders in Sheffield. You will be responsible for taking opportunities and enquiries through the sales process, with a strong emphasis on the technical understanding of customer needs and the products and services offered. The role requires excellent sales relationship skills at a high level and an expert understanding of varying commercial requirements in the sale of a technical product.As Senior Sales Engineer, you will manage key sales accounts and provide sales support when needed in other areas of the team and enable new sales into established customers by maintaining excellent relationships, updating their pipeline activities and supporting the Sales Director in the formulation and implementation of account plans.The growth of revenue and margin from customers is a key objective of the role, along with providing the highest level of customer service through customer engagement and maximising opportunity generation.Job duties, responsibilities and accountabilities include but not limited to:Identification of new opportunities for Chesterfield Special Cylinders’ products and servicesBeing accountable for customer service, maintenance and growth of revenue and marginsWorking with managers to help formulate marketing plansArrange face to face visits, including attending trade shows and exhibitionsPreparation of data for sales reports, forecasts and key performance indicatorsPreparation of costings and price analysis and ensuring processes are maintained for service agreementsAbout the rewardsIn the role of Senior Sales Engineer, the hours are 07:45 – 16:15 Monday to Thursday and 07:45 – 12:45 on Friday.
