Senior RF Engineer | Satellite Communications | up to 70K | Hybrid working from Edinburgh We are currently working with an exciting satellite communications company who are looking for a Senior RF Engineer to join their team.You will be responsible for specification of phased arrays, which will involve specification writing, system simulation and algorithm development Role: Create detailed system requirements based on customer requirementsMake sure requirements meet all relevant regulatory standardsDefine RF system board layout floorplan and layout strategiesLead RF system integration and debug activity at board levelCreate algorithms for controlling RF blocksCollaborate with Digital hardware and software team to integrate and validate algorithmsDevise testing and calibration strategies for sub-assemblies of complete arrayRequired Background:Experienced RF EngineerDegree in Electrical EngineeringKnowledge and experience of RF and system modellingExperience creating algorithms to control complex systemsExperience of system integration, prototyping and transfer to productionDesirable: Keysight SystemVue experiencePCB Layout for complex systemsPhD in RF Systems or communications theory would be greatThis is a great opportunity for an experienced RF Engineer to join an innovative company creating new and exciting satcoms products that are heading into productionWe would also encourage applicants from those in more mid-level RF positions who want to step up and continue growing in their careerThis role does offer sponsorship for UK based candidates and will support relocation to EdinburghKey words: RF, RF Engineer, RF Design Engineer, RF Systems Engineer, Radio Frequency engineer
