An opportunity to work within a growing, well respected, and award-winning school uniform business in the new position of Senior Retail Manager.
The Role
A new hybrid role encompassing retail service delivery, shop management, product development and web management.
This job varies through the year as the demands of the business seasonally change. We are looking for a person with a can-do attitude who can work independently to achieve the company's objectives.
Key tasks are:
Retail sales.
Delivery of elevated levels of customer service.
Shop management.
Product development.
Managing website content, including adding new products.
Managing online appointment platform.
Managing plans for stock levels.
Reacting to changes in demand and coordination.
Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
Monitoring feedback from customers.
Retail administration tasks, including organizing sales events as Schools.
Communication with our schools, customers, and suppliers.
The position is based in Harrow, London.
The Company
The Company was established in 1896 and currently operates three high street stores, located in Eton, Chiswick, and Harrow on the Hill, and one store located within a leading independent school.
The Candidate
The successful applicant for the position of senior retail manager must be flexible, able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and be efficient and highly organized. You must be able to work well both within a team and individually, demonstrating initiative and solve problems that may arise.
You must be well spoken, well presented and have excellent analytical and PC skills. Our discerning customers expect high levels of customer service and service is key to our Companys enduring success.
Key skills required.
Proficient and effective with IT and technology
An ability to learn a range of software applications, including Magento.
Highly proficient at data analysis and the use of MS excel.
A proven ability to work methodically and cope well under pressure.
Confident presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills across various levels
The generous package for the retail administrator manager is highlighted below:
Salary £37,000 to £42,000 neg.
20 days holiday plus bank holiday (increases to 25 days per year after 4 years)
