Please note that we require you to be based in our Hammersmith office 4 days a week.About the Role & TeamAn opportunity has become available for a Senior Research Manager to join the Disney+ team - The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service. The service consists of 6 key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star a general entertainment offering).The Disney+ team manages the day-to-day operation of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, content programming, research and analytics.Are you a forward-thinking, analytically minded Senior Research Manager who has experience leading a team? We are looking for someone who can help the business build its understanding of marketing effectiveness, and specifically how this drives Disney+ brand equity, customer acquisition and retention. In this role, you would collaborate with EMEA and global Disney+ teams, as well as with external third party service providers to identify business needs and deliver EMEA landscape, competitive intelligence, audience and content insights & context to our business planning and execution.What You Will DoLead EMEA marketing effectiveness programme for Disney+ including; positioning and creative testing, brand, campaign and partnership tracking.Deliver actionable and strategic recommendations to senior Disney+ team based on in depth knowledge and insights across all areas of the marketing insights programme.Develop and embed self-service solutions for marketing teams to leverage tracking, optimising and future planning.Deliver consistent creative testing framework of marketing assets across static, audio, visual and early concepts.Line management responsibility for a senior analyst, analyst and a coordinator.Identify brand KPIs that link directly to market performance and collaborate with commercial planning teams to determine future targets.Work in close partnership with the marketing analytics team to support measurement of ongoing marketing testing/experimentation.Manage tailored local D+ primary research initiatives including briefing, commissioning, managing and analysing primary research projects across our EMEA markets to support broader marketing strategies.Ongoing development of insights programme by proactively investigating/recommending new methodologies, datasets and approaches.Collaborate closely with the US Global Disney+ research colleagues, by partnering on projects in the region, ensuring they reflect local nuance and consumer understandingWork collaboratively with other local EMEA Disney+ research teams, to ensure the range of projects, pivotal initiatives and consumer insights delivered at an EMEA level are reflecting local needs and behaviours.Work closely with DTC partnership and affiliates team to measure success of existing partnerships and provide insights to advise on future opportunities.Required Qualifications & Skills Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative research techniques.Experience managing a team and delivering large scale tracking projects.Experience of delivering commercial value and accountability through consumer insights.Expertise in research tools, e.g. SPSS, Survey Reporter, TGI, Qualtrics, etc.Knowledge and experience of business intelligence and visualisation tools.Experience presenting strategic insights to senior level stakeholdersCapable of crafting a narrative with actionable recommendations from research data and insights.Experience building, implementing and scaling cross LOB research and marketing insights initiativesExperience in working in a complex multi-national environment.Preferred Qualifications D2C esearch & insights experienceKnowledge of Mix Marketing Modelling / econometric output and implementationExperience or strong interest in the streaming D2C industryWe are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you may need to support you with the application process.
