15/03/2024 We are looking for a talented Senior Research and Development Officer to join our team. Senior Research and Development Officer (Adults) Diversity monitoring form Interview date: Monday 29 April 2024. Please note that interviews for this role will be held virtually.Research in Practice works with organisations across the children and adults social care, health and criminal justice sectors, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work. Our focus is on using evidence from research, practice and lived experience, to provide resources that improve policy and services, in order to achieve positive outcomes for people of all ages.About the roleWe are looking for a talented Senior Research and Development Officer (SRDO) to join our team.The SRDO role supports a small team of Research and Development Officers, to develop and commission learning resources. As our ideal candidate, you will have direct practice experience in social care, health or criminal justice settings and research experience. You will have experience of supporting the work of others and will be an organised, positive and IT-literate professional. You will use your excellent presentation and writing skills and current sector knowledge to develop and deliver resources to support the sector, including publications and workshops.You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and used to collaborative working. You will have the communication skills to inspire, influence and engage others. Above all, you will share our passion for helping others to use evidence to improve the lives of people of all ages.We offer hybrid, flexible working from our Devon and Sheffield offices.
