Do you have consultancy experience in an environmental discipline? Interested in finding your place in the renewable energy industry and taking a new path in your career? This is the position for you! An Environmental Consultancy working on exciting, new and industry leading Onshore Wind and solar projects are seeking an experienced consultant with environmental knowledge to join the team and be trained up into a specialist renewable energy environmental consultant.

The Senior Renewable Energy Environmental Consultant will be working with a team of approximately 15 people on various EIA's around the Central Belt on onshore wind farm, solar and battery energy projects. You'll be largely office based (with some site visits) acting as the technical lead for a team of Environmental Consultants - running projects, carrying out technical desktop assessments, project managing, training more junior team members, contributing to business development, report writing and some bidding and tendering.

To be considered for this Environmental Consultant position you should:

• Have experience working in Environmental Consultancy (preferably in the Renewable Energy industry, although this is not essential. Other disciplines considered include EIA, Air Pollution, Planning, Geo-environmental & Geotechnical consulting).
• Have a degree in renewable energy, physical geography, environmental science, geology or another relevant subject (preferably to MSc level).
• Commutable to Edinburgh and surrounding sites.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
