To manage all post-placement activity relating to the parts of Chaucer's outwards reinsurance programme assigned by the Reinsurance Operations Manager.
Keeping accurate and up to date records of outwards reinsurance EOCs on Chaucer's Charisma and XL Pro systems.
Proportional Reinsurance (both facultative and treaty). Production, communication and settlement of
Statements and bordereaux at contractual intervals
Profit Commission statements
Collateral statements
Non-proportional reinsurance. Production, communication and transaction of:
Deposit premium
Recoveries & reinstatement premiums
Premium adjustments and legal entity allocation
NCB calculations
Responding to broker/reinsurer queries promptly
Development of less experienced team members
Producing information including claims information in support of outwards treaty renewals
Review of tasks outsourced to DXC and liaison with them
Play a part in:
testing and implementation of new software and processes
review and updating of process and procedure manuals
production of management information
Experience in an outwards reinsurance role within the London market
Problem solving mindset
Used to working with large amounts of data and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel i.e. used to working with pivot tables, vlookups etc.
XL Pro or other automated outwards reinsurance system
Knowledge of the Lloyd's market systems and processes
