As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a critical role in the companys growth strategy by identifying, attracting, and securing top employers/candidates across all sectors. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and providing strategic insights to improve recruitment processes. This role requires a proactive and experienced professional who can navigate complex hiring environments and contribute to the companys growth and success. As the company grows you will be responsible of recruiting top performing recruitment consultants, leading and developing them. This role has a direct progression opportunity to Head of Recruitment.
Key Task / Responsibilities
Department lead Responsibilities:
Strategic recruitment lead for all recruitment to include employer and candidate
Company brand lead, works collaborating with the Marketing Manager to continually evaluate and drive our exposure and translate content within attraction campaigns/functions to innovate talent attraction and recruitment campaigns utilising social media and multichannel marketing
Continually reviews jobs board performance against ROI.
Identifies key strategic partnerships and develops relationships effectively to positively impact the business strategy
Recruitment Budget holder, evaluates recruitment spend and performance across all areas and job Board sign off. Manage budget effectively in line with business performance expectations and probability.
Regularly attends networking events within key industries, identifies trends and delivers first to market solutions within business
Delivers best in class recruitment collateral, including Job Advert and Job Description templates
Drives candidate experience continually reviewing and updating recruitment methods used to ensure seamless end to end Candidate experience
System management including; on-boarding solution, job board performance and CRM management
Manages key recruitment metrics across the business, Time to hire, conversion and retention stats
Creates competitor analysis and bench marking activity twice yearly
Candidate sourcing/management responsibilities:
Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct headhunting, to identify potential candidates.
Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and manage the interview process. Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Employer sourcing/management responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on recruitment strategies and candidate profiles.
Focus on a consultative approach becoming emerged within a company by provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress and challenges.
A degree of flexibility is needed in this position and the post holder may be required to undertake work not specifically referred to above, such work will be consistent with the nature of the role.
Business impact / targets
Achieve a minimum of a £3,000 invoice value to buy your seat
Achieve on average 8 placements at £22,500 salary value / £18,000 invoice value per month. OTE £70k+
Ensure the average fee % is 10%
Commission: all commissions paid 1 month in arrears upon receipt of clients invoice
Training & Development
Full training provided on internal systems and process
Professional development certification provided such as Leadership & Management / Coaching & Mentoring Level 5
Person specification
Qualification:
Recruitment and Employment Confederation (CertRP) Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record in a senior or lead recruiter role.
Experience in both agency and in-house recruitment environments is preferred.
Demonstrated success in recruiting for a variety of roles and levels, including executive positions.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in using recruitment tools, platforms and CRMs to ensure top quality data management, such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Highly organised with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
