Senior Quantity Surveyor – North East London

A well-established main contractor that operates across London and the Southeast are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor commercially manage of a number of refurbishment projects.

This main contractor holds an excellent reputation in the marketplace for delivering education, residential and commercial, and public buildings.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor’s role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will look to run JCT and NEC projects with build values from £500k - £12m. 80% of these projects consist of refurbishment, so experience in this area is vital.

Due to stepping into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position, management of more junior surveyors will be part of your day-to-day duties.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Commercial Director is looking for the Senior Quantity Surveyor to have come from a similar main contractor who has extensive refurbishment experience.

The successful Quantity Surveyor must be/have:

* Must have run a number of general contracting construction projects from start to finish.

* Minimum 8 years’ experience post degree.

* Loyalty to employers (no jumps from role to role).

* Ambition to stay with this business long term and progress up the commercial ranks.

* Extensive refurbishment experience on main contracting projects.

In Return for the Senior Quantity Surveyor?

* Up to 75,000 (DOE)
