Role Overview:
A new requirement has become available for a site-based Quantity Surveyor to support a Solar Farm project energy and power sector. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve managing project procurement, conducting cost and risk analysis, reviewing correspondence, managing subcontractors, providing project costing reports, and overseeing project change order procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Manage and own the commercial and contractual requirements of the project.
- Liaise with the Client Commercial/Contract Team and oversee project procurement, including subcontractors.
- Conduct cost and risk analysis to ensure project viability.
- Review incoming correspondence to identify critical contractual items and initiate replies.
- Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
- Provide project costing, margin, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee project change order procedures and negotiate costs with the client.
Key Requirements: Senior Quantity Surveyor
- 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Surveyor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
- Strong influencing skills across all levels.
