Salary: Starting from 60k up to 80k depending on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Manchester. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying on a variety of projects, including hotels and office buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cost plans


• Perform cost analysis and risk management


• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities


• Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis


• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders


• Manage subcontractors and suppliers


• Prepare monthly valuations and reports


• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes


• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying


• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
