Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a highly successful Tier 1 Contractor who due to the award of new projects is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on schemes typically ranging in value from £5 to £50 million.The opportunityAs Senior Quantity Surveyor you will lead commercial activities on allocated projects and will work on tendering activities and new projects in the pipeline.This is a great opportunity to contribute in a key role and would suit an experienced Senior Surveyor who has a track record of leading commercial activities on projects and working with Bid / Work Winning and Pre-Construction teams.Projects are primarily based in the Public Sector with some projects in the Private Sector, including Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Health and Commercial offices.Qualifications and experience* Main contractor experience within the Construction market.* Experience of different project types and contracts forms.* Experience as a Lead Surveyor on projects ranging between £20m to £50m.* Demonstrably commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships.* Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team and /or multiple smaller project teamsQualifications* Recognised qualification in a building related subject* Chartership with MCIOB or MRICS is preferableYou will be joining a highly respected business who promote a positive and flexible working environment and culture, and offer a highly competitive salary and exceptional benefits package, commensurate with a top 10 Contractor.Apply or enquire now for further information about this fantastic Senior Quantity Surveying opportunity Job Info
