Senior Quantity SurveyorLeisure & Attractions SectorAndoverSalary up to £75,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + PensionA respected design and build contractor based near Andover is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business.The company has a long tradition of undertaking bespoke fit-out and refurbishment projects within the Leisure, Attraction and Tourism sectors.They are experts in the creative design and building of Adventure and Mini Golf Courses, Indoor and Outdoor Adventure Play Areas, Early Years Gardens and Bespoke Internal Theming. Projects range in value from £100K to £5M.This role would suit a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor from either a Shopfitting, Fit-Out or Refurbishment background who will be responsible for performing all surveying duties, taking projects from pre-construction through to final account.Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* A good understanding of bespoke forms or JCT form of contracts.
* Have experience in pricing jobs or variations.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Capable of working in a fast-track environment on projects predominantly across the UK.
* Strong negotiation skills to place subcontract orders and agree accounts.
* Organised management of variation remeasurement to enable prompt agreement of final accounts.
* Confident to represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
* Ability to work to commercial targets to ensure that projects meet the financial requirements of the business.
* Happy to work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, and operations teams.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.On Offer for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
