Support operational teams in daily commercial and contractual matters. Ensure proper contractual administration of assigned contracts/projects, including value and cost control, and maintenance of contemporaneous records. Accurately assess works undertaken and provide necessary records to substantiate costs for prompt issuance of applications for payment/invoices. Effectively manage the change control process, including the production of Early Warnings/Variations to maximise entitlement. Prepare financial statements for assigned projects/contracts, fostering commercial awareness across the business. Mentor and support the development of individuals within the commercial team. Undertake additional duties as required.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction, Civils, or Infrastructure. Proven ability to work autonomously in a senior QS role. Experience managing a team of QSs and AQSs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. HNC Level qualification preferred. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Thorough understanding of contracts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective time management and prioritisation abilities. Enthusiastic, energetic, and forward-thinking.
