As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies; managing costs and regional performance for our clients. This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen. Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for someone to:Manage the contract performance including weekly P&L reportingReview contract documents and mitigate any issuesControl the progress and cash flow forecast informationManage commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance ReportsTake responsibility for Subcontractor Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract termsPrepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotationsOversee subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreementsBe responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value managementManage and track project changes, variations and/or noticesAssess and value variations and compensation eventsPrepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accountsAttend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the ClientBe actively involved with tenders and pricingOversee Credit Control with cash recovery and forecastingSupport the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspectsNetwork Plus at a GlanceNetwork Plus is an award-winning business delivering essential utility and infrastructure services for the UK’s major providers of gas, power, telecoms, transport, water, and wastewater.We value the variety of experience, perspective, and other points of difference our workforce, clients, and supply chain offer.We are actively working with colleagues across the Network Plus Group to develop an inclusive environment – we want all our employees to feel valued and included to enable everyone to thrive at work and understand the value of their contribution matters no matter their background, identity, or circumstances.Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.Network Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
