Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well establised Social Housing Contractor with a family feel seek to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, based from their Greater Manchester offices.The company work within Social Housing, working on both internal and external refurbishments to tenanted properties throughout the Greater Manchester and Yorkshire region. The company have a healthy pipeline of work and get regular repeat business from their clients due to the standard of service they provide. They focus on providing excellent customer service and the quality of the work they do. They also work across a number of established frameworks.They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them to be office based and cover sites across the Greater Manchester region, ranging in value from £500k - £5m. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your duties will include:Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projectsPrepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client's representativePrepare monthly valuation reports for the Management teamSubmit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on timeValue and authorise payments to subcontractorsLiaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirementsLiaise with Contractors, Suppliers and the Client to establish project specification and requirementsAttend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessaryMonitor the contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scaleAssist in the control of individual contract budgetsEnsure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history as a Quantity Surveyor within the Social Housing sector, having experience working on schedule of rates.The salary is negotiable, depending on your experience + car allowance and package.If you are interested in the vacancy and would like to apply, please send a copy of your CV via following the link below
