Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well established construction company based in Wakefield but working throughout the UK and they are now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control and ensuring the successful completion of construction projects and financial control.Duties:- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and other legal documents related to procurement- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and identify any potential cost overruns or deviations from budget- Manage subcontractor accounts and relationships- Collaborate with project managers, site quantity surveyors, engineers, and contractors to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with specifications- Prepare progress reports and financial statements for clients and stakeholders- Provide advice on value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising qualityIf you are a detail-oriented QS professional with demonstrable experience in cost control in the construction industry, we invite you to apply for this position.
