Our client is actively recruiting for a Surveyor Quantity Surveyor for a newly awarded AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) project near Reading. They pride themselves on being professional and approachable and are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to share their drive and passion.
Our client is one of the largest UK Main Contractors and deliver multi million pound projects. This particular scheme has a contract value of £30 million and a duration of 2.5 years. They are a privately owned business and operate on a regional basis.
This role is available on hybrid basis and the client is happy to accommodate, 3 days on site and 2 days from home.
The Candidate:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you should have well-rounded general main contracting experience gained through working on a variety of project types with the ability to work independently with confidence and decisiveness. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive with a positive can-do attitude and experience within the role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing QS.
Key duties will include, but not limited to:
Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded
