Senior Quantity Surveyor (Groundworks) Competitive Salary plus performance bonus, Company Car, Company Pension, On-site parking Ringwood Reed Recruitment (Southampton branch) are looking to recruit a senior quantity surveyor that has experience with groundworks, drainage, roads and civil engineering. The company is a well established civil engineering firm. Roles and Responsibilities:• Point of Contact for all Commercial queries, concerns, or actions on a project• Ensure the company complies fully with its contractual responsibilities.• Preparation, submission, and agreement of contract tenders, seeing project from inception to completion.• Preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly applications for payment• Preparation, submission and agreement of project variations, claims, and design changes• Preparation of project forecasts and cost plans• Agree and process subcontractor payments.• Comply with company and departmental procedures and deadlines.• Prepare and submit accurate reports that analyse and demonstrate the profitability and commercial progress of a project. • Work in collaboration with procurement and site management teams. Essential Competence and Training:• Can demonstrate 5 years + in Quantity Surveying of UK residential groundworks projects.• Strong numerical and analytical skills• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word• Working Knowledge of Bluebeam or similar construction software system
