Build Recruitment is currently partnered with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with their search for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor. They will play a crucial role within the cost management team, contributing to ongoing innovation, quality, and expansion. Their support to the team management will ensure the seamless delivery of numerous projects while maintaining consistently high service standards for esteemed clients. These projects encompass a broad spectrum, with costs ranging from £1m to well over £400m. The team oversees a diverse array of projects, guiding them from initial concepts and business cases through design phases, procurement, and finally, construction. Actively engaged in the successful execution of these projects, they collaborate with clients of international renown.Among the current projects are:Sports stadiums and arenasConstruction and renovation of healthcare facilities focusing on acute care and mental healthDevelopment of teaching facilities, seminar spaces, and laboratories for Russell Group universities, with a nod towards heritage preservation and student accommodationUrban renewal projects initiated by local authorities, encompassing housing, retail, and infrastructureComplex logistics and warehousing projects demanding advanced storage solutions and high bay structuresEndeavours in the pharmaceutical sector, bolstering the UK's vaccine manufacturing capabilitiesProjects centred on sustainability, aiding clients in achieving their Net Zero objectivesCollaborations with motor racing entities and international circuits to transition production lines to electric vehiclesDevelopment of commercial properties and science parksGlobal projects for the Defence and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development OfficeIn return for their contributions, they can anticipate a comprehensive rewards package aimed at promoting overall wellbeing.
