Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a highly successful Tier 1 Contractor who due to the award of new projects is�seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on schemes typically ranging in value from �5 to �50 million.

The opportunity

As�Senior Quantity Surveyor you will lead commercial activities on allocated projects and will work on tendering activities and new projects in the pipeline.

This is a great opportunity to contribute in a key role and would suit an experienced Senior Surveyor who has a track record of leading commercial activities on projects and working with Bid / Work Winning and Pre-Construction teams.

Projects are primarily based in the Public Sector with some projects in the Private Sector, including Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Health and Commercial offices.

Qualifications and experience

• Main contractor experience within the Construction market.


• Experience of different project types and contracts forms.


• Experience as a Lead Surveyor on projects ranging between �20m to �50m.


• Demonstrably commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering high quality results whilst maintaining positive relationships.


• Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team and /or multiple smaller project teams

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in a building related subject


• Chartership with MCIOB or MRICS is preferable
