Senior Quantity Surveyor

Calibre Search are working with a striving Independent Consultancy who are now looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them in Wigan.
Be part of a skilled and pro-active team who offer a wide range of services which include Cost Management, Employers Agent, Fund Monitoring and full project management. They have some fantastic projects which you will be play a big part in which include various high profile BTR Residential sites, student accommodation and a huge town regeneration framework which will involve a multitude of new build and major refurb projects.
Ideally, you will be confident in being client facing as a Quantity Surveyor with previous knowledge and background working within a similar consultancy environment. MRICS qualified would be ideal however not essential as they have an APC Accessor to assist if you wish to become chartered.
This Practice certainly are making strides in the market and one which makes this position even more intriguing as some of the clients and projects they have are certainly up there.

Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements

• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team
• The ability to deal/face Clients of all levels and desire to develop further business
• Professional presentation, attention to detail and flexibility within all work matters.
• Offering Pre & Post Contract services - Final Accounts/BOQ's/measurements etc
• Project Management/Employer Agent Services/ on-site travel & inspections.
• Ideally MRICS or close to achieving
• Commercially minded and always striving to improve services
• Previous experience working within a construction consultancy environment
