Senior Quantity Surveyor

Calibre Search are working alongside a highly established Building & Project Consultancy now looking to bring their next strategic hire of a Senior level Quantity Surveyor based within Wakefield.
Predominantly, they are well known for offering Building Surveying and Architecture services however in the last few years, they've successfully started their own Cost Management service which now has a small, nimble team leading this which you will be part of becoming integral to the growth of this team.
Current pipeline of projects already includes a vast and various range of numerous care homes, up to a 1000 square metre of industrial sheds, luxury, bespoke one-off residential homes as well as a large new hotel in North Yorkshire as well as potential work within the MOD.
You will predominantly be trusted to act and deliver projects yourself with the full support of the QS Director (APC Accessor themselves) if you wish to gain chartership (if not achieved already) as well as general support for your career progression.
The practice overall is a social, vibrant bunch so naturally they are involved in plenty of social and charity events which they like to do and encourage. Ideal role for any Senior Quantity Surveyor with Pre-Contract/Employers Agent looking for that next step up.
Duties/Requirements

• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team
• The ability to deal/face Clients of all levels
• Professional presentation, attention to detail and flexibility within all work matters.
• Offering Pre & Post Contract services - Final Accounts/BOQ's/measurements etc
• Project Management/Employer Agent Services/ on-site travel & inspections.
• Already qualified or working towards your MRICS Qualification
• Commercially minded
