Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a rapidly expanding utilities based in West Yorkshire. The company are currently in a phase of major growth in Yorkshire, with framework wins and a full order book until 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial reporting including forecasting and wider project performance
- Work alongside operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts
- Manage client interface
- Risk management including change control and WIP management
- Contract Administration
- Provision of contractual advice to the project delivery team
- Aid in subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk achieved at all times
- Payment and debt management
- Post project appraisals and feedback loop to T & E team
- Attend internal and external (Client) meetings
- Final account compilation / submission
Key Competencies:

- Contractual knowledge – NEC3 ECC knowledge is essential

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Civil Engineering / Utility work experience
- Excellent IT skills – with heavy focus on excel
Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential
- Experience in the construction industry is essential
- Experience with scheme finance and commercial management is essential
- Ability to understand and respond to contract issues
- MRICS or MCIOB is desirable
- Experience in the utility construction industry with a complete understanding of gas, water and electric distribution infrastructures is desirable
A salary of up to £65,000 plus company vehicle or allowance, annual leave, pension scheme, bonus scheme and other benefits.
