We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a Principal Contractor on a large infrastructure scheme in the Sunderland area. What you will be doing: Ensure that our safety first and foremost message is visible and alive through all activities on the projectWhere relevant, manage and coach any Quantity Surveyors or Assistant Quantity SurveyorsReview and interpret contract terms and conditions, identifying and mitigating risks and enhancing opportunitiesEnsure compliance with all aspects of the contract, liaise with the project teams on project statusIdentify, qualify and management the agreement process of any changes to the company's contractual obligationsTake responsibility for the cash flow forecasting, submission and receipt of paymentsMonitor and forecast costs and revenue through project lifecycleAssist with procurement and management of subcontractorsProvide accurate reporting of costs, projections, contingency, liabilities, sales and marginsDevelop and maintain positive long term relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfactionWorking alongside the project team and Commercial manager, negotiate the settlement of the final account and facilitate sign offEnsure all necessary records and reports are generated and maintainedRequirements: Significant experience as a (Senior) Quantity Surveyor, ideally on medium to large infrastructure schemes.
