Orion's longstanding client have asked us to support them on adding in a talented Senior Quality Technician into their successful manufacturing facility. The Senior Quality Technician is a brand new vacancy released by their Head of Quality who is looking for someone just like you as an experienced professional - well versed in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities within a manufacturing environment.

What will the Senior Quality Technician do?



  • Play a pivotal support role into the senior quality team by ensuring quality documentation is fully up to date and holds the correct information

  • Inspection and testing of final products. Feedback and documentation of inspection issues to relevant internal teams.

  • Supporting management in implementing CAPA and driving quality awareness throughout the organization

  • Supporting Head of QA in the in-house and external calibration of measuring equipment

  • Investigate and develop Corrective actions, solutions and improvements to address the root cause of quality issues.


In order to be shortlisted for the Senior Quality Technician, you will need to be able to demonstrate: 



  • 2 years minimum working in the Quality Department within a manufacturing environment 

  • Have worked on and supported the maintenance and creation of records for a Quality Management System 

  • Understand and have some exposure to RCA activities/investigations

  • Experience with calibration of measuring tools and equipment 

  • Ability to comfortably commute to the above stated location, there is no hybrid working with this position. 

  • Have the full right to work in the UK. Our client is not able to support either immediate or future sponsorship requests
