Title: Senior QC Analyst

Salary: �35,000 per annum


SRG are working with a leading provider of organic solvent recycling solutions, dedicated to promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact. They serve various industries, including chemical manufacturing and pharmaceuticals, by offering efficient and eco-friendly recycling services.

They have recently undergone some restructuring and are looking for Senior QC Analyst to join the team in Cheshire. Your role will include leading the QC analysts, taking in part in sampling and processing of raw materials and playing a pivotal role in QC laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality control processes for organic solvent recycling operations.
  • Develop and implement QC protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced analytical techniques.
  • Perform a variety of analytical tests, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, FTIR, and titration methods.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all analytical results and maintain meticulous records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to analytical instrumentation and methods.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including GMP, GLP, ISO, and other industry-specific guidelines.
  • Prepare and review quality-related documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), validation reports, and audit responses.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance QC efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing quality initiatives and projects.
  • Mentor and train junior QC analysts and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in analytical techniques, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within chemical manufacturing or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and titration.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement QC protocols and SOPs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.
