Description

• Lead the accounts payable team and ensure all invoices are processed accurately and timely
• Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of the purchase ledger
• High Volume Invoice Experience
• Organise payment runs and manage supplier queries
• Prepare month-end reports for the accounting department
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies
• Maintain a strong relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Assist with the training and development of junior team members
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounts payable process

Profile

A successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and purchase ledger management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
