Since launching in 2009, H& F Talking Therapies has become a well-established and friendly service now offering the rare vacancy for a Senior PWP. We are looking for a candidate who can offer commitment to the role for at least 18mths to support their development and to adequately offer support to those they line manage and supervise. Main duties of the jobIn a senior position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Support the Step 2 Leads and Lead PWP in the operational management of the PWP team. Holding a small caseload and working with some of the more complex Step 2-appropriate cases seen within the service. Provide case management, clinical supervision and line management for Trainee PWPs and other B4 Step 2 roles, e.g. Assistant PWPs. Assist in clinically related admin, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. Have opportunity to lead on smaller project Work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You should be committed to equal opportunities. Comprehensive in house management, supervision training and CPD to support your development in post and beyond. The successful applicant will have a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification, be registered with the BABCP/BPS, supervision experience and a can do and compassionate approach to management. Excellent written and oral communication skills one to one and in group situations in a face to face, video, online and telephone setting. Excellent communications skills, and comfortable presenting to small and large audiences Work autonomously, independently and effectively within a small team Well organised and willing to learn new computer skills rapidly Able to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines Ability to deliver a project plan by delegating tasks to project workers, communicating effectively, meeting deadlines and reporting on progress made to leaders. Ability to secure health information from relevant health specialists to inform the process of assessment Evidence of innovative thinking to meet the needs of the local community Strong IT skills - use of MS office packages including skills with word, powerpoint and excel to support data collection and analysis.

Experience of delivering workshops/training and public speaking to small and large audiences within the community. Experience with working with interpreters Experience working in a multicultural setting Experience co working with other agencies - statutory and voluntary - to deliver care. Post qualification experience of working in a Talking Therapies service Experience in leading a small project to support service delivery. E.g. holding a champion role and achieving good outcomes.

Experience in marketing, communications, and/or promotion Experience of using social media to promote community work and encourage local engagement Significant consolidation of post-qualifying experience (2 years minimum) of working with people with common mental health problems.
