Senior Property Manager (With Asset Management)

Are you in commercial property management, but want to get involved in wider asset management duties with landlord and tenant work? Or are you a residential Block/AST manager that wants to get into commercial property management??TML Recruitment are partnered with a leading property practice and their property asset management team in their search for a Surveyor or Senior property asset management surveyor. You can be based out of London or Buckinghamshire the client has a patch which covers London, Oxford, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Given a strategic growth mandate they now require a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join their Property Asset Management team to report into the overall head. This client offers a very flexible working policy where you are only expected in the office 1 day per week. It is essential to the business that you are out growing/developing relationships with their clients.At present, the business has a mixed portfolio of clients, all commercial with some associated residential where a bolt on from a commercial portfolio. The main crux of the asset classes are offices, retail, industrial and some healthcare properties. Clients they manage are typically family investment companies, but they work with pension funds, primary care properties, GP practices and NHS property services.What may be interesting to Surveyors that want to add to their experience away from classic property management is that the Property Asset Management division offer two services. First your “Service charge Management” and secondly “Full Charge Management” where my client will deal with tenants, their leases, rent reviews, licence, eg. small alterations. So there is a major chance to be involved in more than just standard property management which not all firms can offer! If you aren't overly keen on the Facilities management side of property asset management then worth noting that they utilise a PM firm as a switchboard for any queries the clients' have where they go to them including out of hours emergency so no out of hours calls!WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
* MRICS qualification (desirable, but not essential)
* Ideally proven track record and experience of managing commercial property.
* Can come from a Residential Block/AST Management background.
* Ideally some experience of L&T matters
* Able to see clients in London and the Northern home counties
* IT literate/proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite.
* Extensive experience within the commercial or residential property market
* You must have a full UK driving license
* Ability to effectively and efficiently manage workloads
* Strong planning, organisational and communication skillsWHY APPLY?
