Senior Property Claims Handler

An excellent opportunity has now arisen within their Claims department for a Senior Property Claims Handler.

Our client truly believes in internal progression and development, with this role becoming available due to an internal promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering an outstanding claims handling service to clients, demonstrating a sound level of technical competence and knowledge.


• Attending sites when required for large and complex claims, supporting the client from the inception of the claim.


• Negotiating and obtaining settlement of claims, liaising with claimants, insurers and loss adjusters.


• Proactively managing your own claim caseload, ensuring these are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.


• Supporting and providing mentoring to others within the team.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience across a number of years handling Commercial Property claims from cradle to grave.


• Experience of attending sites to assist in investigations would also be highly advantageous.


• Good relationships in the market with loss adjusters.


• Excellent communication skills are essential for this position, both in a verbal and written manner.


• Be personable and able to develop outstanding relationships with colleagues and clients, working together as a team and providing a high quality service at all times.
