We partner with technology vendors including HP, Cisco, NetApp, Microsoft, and VMWare, Azure to deliver market leading technology solutions which enable organisations to increase their business efficiency, improve customer service and reduce business costs.Summary:The senior Project Manager will look after multiple, complex IT Projects covering a wide range of technologies including, LAN / WAN and Firewalls, Networking, hosted VoIP Telephony solutions, Microsoft Azure, Endpoint technologies, SIEM Security, Mail and Data and SharePoint Migrations.This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing Medium to large-scale IT projects.This role will be based in our Hitchin office (hybrid working pattern, 3 days in office / week).Role Responsibilities:Take charge of end-to-end project management and solution delivery, ensuring project cost, time, and quality parameters are metProvide direction and focus for projects by outlining requirements, design, governance, and delivery plansFoster and sustain trusted relationships with heads of function, senior management, and diverse internal and external stakeholdersPrepare standard project documentation such as RAID logs, project plans, reports, revenue/cost forecasts, change requests and statements of workIdentify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies, ability to run risk workshops.Act as the primary Client liaison, develop effective working relationships with key stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:Experience in a Senior Project Management role, with a strong focus on IT Infrastructure and Cloud migration projectsExperience leading multi-function, multi-supplier teams on medium to large scale projectsStrong Problem-solving skills, the ability to bring people together to find solutions to technical or migration challengesTrack record of delivering client facing technical projects of £1m+ in RevenueAdvanced level in MS Project and ExcelHighly experienced in project estimation and working with pre-sales teams to develop SoW’sAccreditation of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and AGILE.Advanced level presentation, written communication, and analytical skillHighly experienced with service transition processes and ITIL disciplinesDelivery proficiency in major platforms (networks, Servers, SQL, Azure Cloud) and operating systemsExperience of managing projects from a business perspective including budgeting, cost control, schedule adherence & critical path analysisExperienced in reporting project KPI’s to the Project Board through Highlight Reports and stage assessmentsWhat you’ll get from usGreat prospects - once you’ve got to grips with our systems and processes, you’ll have the opportunity to progress with usKnowledgeable, high-achieving, experienced and fun colleaguesA career with room for your personal life in a work environment where everyone knows the value of a healthy work-life-balanceCommitment to Diversity and Inclusion - we hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes us stronger.25 days annual leave + bank holidaysSounds like you?If you share our values and our enthusiasm for delivering a world class service, you will find a home at here at Modern.
