Ocado is a technology-led, global software and robotics platform providing a unique end-to-end solution for customers on a global scale.As part of growing the Ocado business, we have recently announced a new mission to sell our unique ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) product to organisations operating outside of grocery e-commerce across the globe.The MHE and software is highly advanced and previously only available to grocers.About the roleThere is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team, whowill lead delivery of large scale Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) projects to Ocado’s customers and will be accountable for the following:Project Management of projects from the pre-deal to ‘ready for execution’Core technical project management routinesProject Leadership and Stakeholder ManagementProcess and delivery method development including a focus on continuous improvementAbout youProject leadership experienceA highly analytical and logical approach to workEffective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the business and with clientsAbility to respond quickly to changing prioritiesAbility to plan and prioritise workload, ensuring all given deadlines are metAbility to read situations and understand commercial and contractual impactAbility to multitask and manage a number of projects and responsibilities at the same timeAbility to understand and challenge expert opinionsPreferred (in addition to the above)Knowledge of MHE including design principlesSoftware experienceExperience owning/managing P&LsExperience working in a technical discipline / demonstrated understanding of challenging technical conceptsExperience working with contracts / legal documentsDegree-level educated or equivalentWhat we offer youOur employee benefits are designed for you, we care about people and we’ve ensured we have a wealth of benefits that focus on your well-being.
