Senior Project Manager

We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Due to some exciting growth within our Defence business, we are interested in speaking with an experienced Project Manager to join one of our live projects within our Defence Team.
Role Location:
You can work from any of our 6 offices in the UK (including Cheltenham) or from home, you decide. The role will however require weekly travel to meet customers at various locations across the West and Midlands.
The Opportunity:
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will be working within our Defence team, taking delivery responsibilities for a number of large new and inflight technology projects (software). You will be responsible for high level planning, project deliverables and ensuring high quality levels are maintained from both a project and people perspective. Other typical responsibilities include:
Responsibility for the delivery of projects or services to the agreed cost, timescale, quality, and scope.
Managing relationships and engagement with customers and partners.
Providing leadership to the team.
Providing oversight for the delivery of supplier partners and resolving issues as they arise.
Communicate and facilitate in diverse situations with stakeholders and key customers.
Adopting appropriate delivery methods and tools.
Constantly reviewing progress and tailoring delivery methods to the specific delivery.
Reporting on the project and issue escalation.
Become an active participant in the CACI delivery community, sharing best practice, supporting & mentoring others, and looking to continually improve our delivery processes.

For our current requirement, we are looking for someone with:
Experience delivering Defence IT projects (ideally Software).
Strong stakeholder engagement skills able to manage senior defence customer relationships and able to handle difficult situations / resolve conflict.
Project commercial awareness, such as budget tracking, risk management and forecasting.
Ability to build and maintain high performing teams.
Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
