Senior Project Manager - Waste Water Framework (United Utilities) Full-time Position - North West Region
About the Role:
This role involves working within the waste water framework of United Utilities in the North West Region. We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in waste water management and associated civil engineering projects. This role entails extensive client interaction, requiring the incumbent to represent the company with professionalism consistently. The successful candidate will have a robust background in managing construction projects within the civils sector, particularly focusing on various waste water initiatives. Responsibilities include ensuring the implementation of appropriate Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans prior to site activities commencement, as well as ongoing monitoring of Quality documentation to maintain accurate records as per client specifications.
Collaboration is paramount in this role, involving coordination with clients, design partners, internal staff, subcontractors, operatives, and other stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of health and safety, quality assurance, environmental compliance, contract administration, cost control, planning, communication, and personnel management.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Essential:
Proficiency in waste water management, excavation, groundworks, concreting, and drainage
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a supervisory role on construction sites
Qualification in construction-related studies (HNC/HND/Degree)
Gold Card CSCS accreditation as a minimum requirement
SMSTS 5-day accreditation
Valid first aid accreditation (minimum 3-day course)
Possession of a full clean driving license
Accreditation as a Temporary Works Supervisor
NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D accreditation
SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)
Thorough understanding of the construction industry and relevant trade disciplines
Familiarity with CDM regulations and NEC Form of Contracts
