Job DescriptionJob Title: Developmental Project Manager - Solar PVWorking Arrangement: Hybrid - London HQ (Flexible Hours)Salary: £65,000 - £75,000Opportunity to work across PV, EV charging, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, providing diverse experience and exposure to cutting-edge renewable energy technologies.Overview: My renewable client seeking an experienced Senior Developmental Project Manager with a strong background in solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HSE aspects, practical knowledge in electrical engineering, and a successful track record in advising on and interpreting grid applications, particularly with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).Responsibilities:Lead the development of solar PV/EV Charging projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards.Provide expert advice on electrical engineering, including grid integration, and interconnection requirements.Advise and guide project teams on technical challenges, leveraging practical knowledge and experience in the solar/EV Charging industry.Interpret and navigate grid applications and requirements, collaborating closely with DNOs and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Demonstrate prior success in managing and obtaining grid connections for projects, optimising timelines and minimising costs.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, real estate landlords, regulatory bodies, and local communities, to drive project success and mitigate risks.Utilise experience to optimise project performance, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on solar PV/EV Charging projects.Experience in managing HSE aspects of renewable energy projects.Practical knowledge of electrical engineeringProven track record of advising on and successfully navigating grid applications and requirements, particularly with DNOs.Prior experience in obtaining grid connectionsDeep understanding of PV/EV Charging/BESS systems and their integration into the grid.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.Professional certifications such as PMP, CEng, or equivalent are a plus.If this role is of interest, please apply directly or share your CV to #####
