About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the PMO Team Lead with various responsibilities including RFP responses, project set-up, and financial management. This position requires a proactive leader who can serve as the main client contact and oversee the auditing of the ISO business management system. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Take charge of managing projects and guiding the work of your team to ensure successful project delivery.
Scheduling and Resourcing:
Create effective schedules and monitor project resources to facilitate smooth project execution.
Budget Management:
Oversee project budgets in collaboration with Project Leads, Team Leads, and external consultants, ensuring accurate financial management.
Invoicing:
Conduct weekly reviews of project team timesheets, coordinate with the Finance Coordinator for accurate invoicing, and make necessary adjustments with the Finance Manager.
RFP/Tender Preparation:
Lead the preparation of RFPs, tender documents, and presentation materials for new clients and consultants, and participate in client and bid interviews.
Contract Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for contract discussions with clients, ensuring design deliverables meet contractual obligations.
Template Development:
Assist in developing project management templates to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Training and Mentoring:
Train, coach, and mentor team members, providing ongoing project fundamentals training and resolving issues impacting project objectives.
