Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Salary: £42,000 - £56,800
Location: Cambridge / Hybrid (arrangements negotiable)
Contract: Full Time/Fixed term (12 months)

If so, we would like to hear from you as we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver key projects for our internationally recognised product, The International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

These are exciting times for the English Product Group as we look to implement a range of strategic initiatives, to develop our products and services to customers and to streamline our systems. To enable us to meet the ever-increasing demand, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Project Manager, who will thrive in delivering in this changing environment and is motivated by providing excellent customer service. The role is situated within the Programmes & Business Analysis team in English and will be focused on delivering technology-related projects within IELTS.
You will be responsible for managing your projects and teams using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will use good Project Portfolio Management (PPM) practice in the projects and business change activities you manage and for ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, budget and timescales, including the setup and management of governance and escalation processes within existing frameworks.
This role requires the ability to engage and build excellent relationships with internal senior stakeholders and governance bodies across the business, as well as external stakeholders, suppliers, partners and customers, understand their strategic business drivers and requirements and ensure that their expectations are met.
About you
As our next Senior Project Manager, you will have a demonstrable track record of successful project management and implementing business change in a complex environment. You will have excellent relationship management, negotiation and communication skills and will be able to influence colleagues, suppliers and decision makers effectively. You will also be innovative and organised, and able to work to tight deadlines, together with the capacity to add value through dynamic collaboration, lateral thinking and creative problem solving.
