Senior Project Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a top quality nuclear company on the south coast who are looking for a senior project engineer to join the team on a well paying contract basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a senior project engineer to further there career and  work on some great projects.

Job Title - Senior Project Engineer
Location - New Romney
Contract Length - 12 months
Pay Rate - Up To £525 a day (Inside IR35)

If you are a Senior Project Engineer who has a good strong background in the nuclear/defence field and has a proven track record in the decommissioning and mechanical engineering then this will be perfect for you.

Senior Project Engineers Requirements:

• Be a key contributor to the project execution plans inclusive of design, safety and commissioning strategies.
• Approve and produce technical drawings
• Handle and prepare drawings including proposals and act/manage as the designated engineer
• Deal with handover systems/operations ensuring that all drawings instructions and training have been supplied as required
• Develop the concepts designs and fit for purpose engineering solutions
• Manage all detail design activities in accordance with the design authority standards.
• Specify and provide technical supervision of commissioning and or decommissioning

Senior Project Engineers Essentials:

• HNC, degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 5/6
• Good knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experience in a practicing disciplined Engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I or Civil) on industrial plant
• Ideally, experience in the role of a commissioning lead or similar
