Principal Project / Delivery Engineer Role
As a principal project/delivery engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, constructing, and commissioning our cutting-edge chemical processing plant in the Netherlands. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and timeline objectives. This role is pivotal, offering ownership and leadership in the heart of an exciting, career-defining project.
Responsibilities
Deliver complete modules within budget and timeline, integrating seamlessly into the plant
Collaborate effectively with EPCM contractors, module suppliers, and the management team to ensure project success
Manage detailed engineering documentation in compliance with industry standards
Oversee project budgets, resources, and schedules for timely completion
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for materials procurement
Take initiative in learning and understanding technology and projects, under the mentorship of senior management
Gain technical knowledge of the existing plants to become a pivotal member of the senior technical team
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A background in process, chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering
Experience in a responsible role within an owner organisation or smaller company
Proven project management experience from design to commissioning
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Exceptional organisation and multitasking abilities
Flexible, diligent, and willing to work necessary hours for project success
