Due to recent award wins, TEXO Engineering are expanding it's team in Westhill, Aberdeen with a Senior Project Engineer.
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will assist with all technical aspects of EPC projects within the Project Delivery team.
Drawing on your extensive experience, you will handle projects that involve the engineering and design phase with technical support and knowledge, you will oversee the fabrication phase alongside the Fabrication Delivery team, and then oversee offshore construction phases, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget, on time, and meeting the highest quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Tendering, Planning & Coordination:




  • Preparation of commercial proposals for large technical tenders and ITTs.

  • Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of materials and equipment.



Technical Oversight:




  • Provide technical leadership throughout the engineering, fabrication, and offshore construction phases.

  • Review and approve engineering designs, fabrication plans, and construction methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project-related risks.

  • Implement strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success



Quality Assurance:




  • Interface with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.

  • Provide technical support and address client concerns throughout the project lifecycle.



 Documentation and Reporting:




  • Generate and review technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and project reports.

  • Provide regular and accurate progress reports to senior management and clients.



 HSE Compliance:




  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

  • Implement and promote safety best practices across all project activities.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer within the Oil and Gas sector, with expertise in engineering, fabrication, and offshore construction.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred.

  • Strong technical background and familiarity with industry codes and standards.

  • Excellent project management skills and proficiency in project management tools.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

  • Experience with various EPC project delivery models and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience in preparing commercial proposals for large tenders and ITTs.
