Senior Project Accountant
Role Context:
The role is part of the UK Operations and is based in Brentford.
The Senior Project Accountant will play a key role in helping the business maximise results. Excellent communication skills and experience of adding value, challenging results and working with management team are crucial.
Reporting into the Project Accounting Manager, we seek an ambitious candidate looking to broaden their experience within the Worley Group
You'll be:
Managing all aspects of financial performance reporting and commercial finance support activities on the project. Provision of forward-looking financial information and interpretation. Responsible for financial control on the projectsMaintaining tight control on cash reportingResponsible for delivering consistent, accurate and timely management information (financial and statistical) to all key stakeholders for decision making purposesManaging the project WIP and AR balances, to ensure a low DSO is achieved on a consistent basisInputting for Corporate monthly financial reporting and project forecastingEnsuring alignment of the project controls and finance functionsFinance liaison on all audits (External, client & internal audits)Providing commercial support to the project including management of provisions across projectsDeveloping processes and methodologies and push for continuous improvementProviding Adhoc projects/support to Project Accounting Manager & project management
You'll have:
A degree and a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience
A confident and high energy individual with a desire to make a difference and offer suggestions for improvement & recommendations.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for the detail.
Previous experience of the industry/sector is advantageous
Advanced Excel and system skills.
Oracle experience highly desirable.
