Signature Recruitment is seeking a Senior Programme Officer to join our client, a London university. This temporary assignment has an immediate start and offers a hybrid working structure, with flexibility required during exam times. As a Senior Programme Officer, you will operate in a fast-paced environment. Tasks will involve providing essential assistance to students, academics and other stakeholders. You will investigate and resolve queries and offer assistance in activities such as student module registration, assessments and the production of handbooks. Duties will also include using databases and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate student data. Additionally, you will update data on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), assist in exam setup, assist during seminar events, and handle various ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Senior Programme Officer Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day student and academic inquiries efficiently, maintaining the accuracy and data quality of student records Develop and plan programme cycles, identify priorities, and adjust work plans as necessary Coordinate programme administration processes including assessment processes, in line with deadlines, regulations, and Faculty requirements Update databases and student records systems with management information data to a high level of detail and accuracy Provide support during high-volume periods, and participate in new starter inductions and events Work with the wider university community to ensure up-to-date and consistent practices are followed when utilising systems
Senior Programme Officer Key Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to draft documents and correspondence autonomously to a broad range of audiences Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse complex numerical data Exceptional time management and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines
