Senior Programme Manager

Salary is £85,000 - £95,000 p/a. Contractor rate is £80-£95 p/h.

Location: Reading

Are you a seasoned Programme Manager looking for a challenging opportunity to lead the planning, development, and implementation of programmes in the commissioning and construction sector? We have an exciting position available with a competitive salary range of £85,000 - £95,000 per annum or contractor rate of £80-£95 per hour. As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of construction and commissioning activities, ensuring timely delivery of programme deliverables to meet time, cost, and quality targets through effective governance and communication strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

Create and manage project schedules
Develop and implement steps to complete programmes
Monitor progress and identify risk factors
Assign tasks to project teams
Compile progress reports and deliver presentations
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and legal requirements
Identify opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency
Strong communication and package VIZ comms

Experience & Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role or background in Construction and Commissioning
Stakeholder Engagement, Communication, and sub-contract management experience
Strong Governance skills
Ability to problem-solve and develop effective strategies
Professional qualification in Construction or HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Commissioning
UK Nationality required for Security Clearance
