The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Programme Manager to join a globally renowned organisation working in the Aerospace sector.

You will need to be able to show demonstrable experience delivering NPI Projects/Programmes that incorporates both hardware and software within them.

As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be tasked with delivering more complex programmes and working with cross functional teams achieve this,

You’ll be commercially astute and able to make decisions with the support of data analytics and personal experience in similar positions.

Duties – Senior Programme Manager


  • Control and monitor contract performance for customer programmes.
  • Act as the key interface for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assure timely resolution of issues to arise during programme lifecycle.
  • Regularly coordinate with customer regarding progress of the programme.
  • Negotiate programme variations and agree issue resolution with end customer.
  • Accountability for contract, operations, and performance specifications.
  • Accountability for financial & technical metrics.
  • Maintain and develop specialised knowledge of commercial developments.
  • Contribute towards strategy and policy development.
  • Data analysis to support recommendations of a technical/commercial nature.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure decision making best results.
  • Act as a source of knowledge to more junior members of the organisation.

Background – Senior Programme Manager


  • Strong background in NPI Product development.
  • An accomplished Programme Manager.
  • A confident decision maker with an ability to solve complex tasks.
  • Knowledge of Software driven products to understand technical challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership tendencies.
  • Able to analyse and resolve problems.
  • Ability to plan and execute programmes through full lifecycle.
