Our client, a small to medium sized production company have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed production operator to join their team.

Roll and Responsibilities

• The role is to run a varied selection of industrial machines at the maximum efficiency.


• The role is not only to supervise operators but also to work on machinery; hands-on experience is essential.


• Mechanical skills are essential; for example, Changing one product to another on the machines. �


• The person will need to be physically fit as lifting is required in the job.


• Ensuring all products you manufacture are of a high quality.


• Inputting of production into a stock control computer system.


• Maintaining a safe working environment.


• Once trained you will be required to train other trainees when required.

Specific items

• Co-operation and communication with the site manager and other factory floor staff


• Monitoring manufactured product and reporting faults found.

Qualifications and� requirements

• Computer and I.T skills


• Health and safety qualification (preferred but not essential)


• Mechanically minded.


• Good communication skills

In this role you will be expected to work 3 x 12 hour shifts Monday to Wednesday.� Rotating Days and Nights. �14.13 per hour

During the summer months ( busier periods ) they also work a Thursday where providing you have completed your standard 36 hour week, you will be paid at �17.52 per hour for the additional hours.
