Planet Innovation has over 400 of the brightest and most passionate people on Earth, and we are looking for more.As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer with demonstrated experience in regulated industry, manufacturing to join our growing team.The RoleUndertake activities that contribute to the establishment and improvement of manufacturing processes for a range of technically complex products (both medical and non-medical devices). Is engaged in the manufacturing support of products to ensure product quality and delivery targets are achieved. This includes root cause analysis of issues and implementation of effective solutions.The AccountabilitiesContribute to the establishment and lead the maintenance of manufacturing processesParticipates and leads initiatives to improve the manufacturing process with a focus on lean assembly and manufacturing processesManage issues and reports from technicians in an agreed and timely mannerSuccessful preparation of reports of key metrics and communication with client and key stakeholder relationships at a peer technical levelManagement of specific supplier issues / NCRsDevelopment of plans, schedules improvements for review and approval by ManagerManagement of specific production engineering improvement projects, with supervision from your manager, including supplier performance improvements, internal process improvement projects, Technically responsible for product drawings, process flow charts, design reviews and feasibility risk assessments including relevant engineering documentation for products such as PFMEA, BOMs and SOPsAssessment and qualification of suppliers, including low cost regionsManagement of materials non-conformances, supplier improvements within the CAPA systemEnsure compliance with ISO13485 manufacturing processesRegular interfacing with engineers, suppliers and customersSignificant role in audit and qualification of suppliers and manufacturing processesThe Typical ExperiencesTypically has at least 8+ years experience within manufacturing function in an engineering disciplineKnowledge of lean assembly and manufacturing techniquesStrong troubleshooting skills and experienceCompliance with international quality standards including ISO13485, ISO9001 or having worked in a regulated industryBachelor’s or Master's Degree in Mechatronics engineering essentialKnowledge of cleanroom processes is nice to haveProficient in Mandarin would be a bonusA positive, high-achieving work culture, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow await you at Planet Innovation, so apply now.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
