We’re striving for the best of both worlds; giving people the freedom to decide where they work most of the time, as well as the opportunity to build relationships and work with people across FoundryThe RoleWe are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Foundry to play a crucial role in driving our product marketing strategy and plans as part of our annual Go-to-Market and product release cycles. In this role, you will work closely with product management, engineering, sales, creative services and the wider marketing team to ensure our product marketing strategy is aligned with the product positioning, overall business goals, and market requirements.This includes understanding the target market by product, positioning the product effectively, and ensuring that all product marketing and technical writing communicate our value proposition clearly and compellingly.Responsibilities: Oversee the development of product positioning, messaging and documentation that differentiates our products in the market, ensuring consistency of messaging across marketing channels and materials. This includes translating technical features into clear, user-focused benefits, and helping potential and current customers understand how Foundry products can solve their problems and enhance their workflow.
Manage the development and execution of product launch plans in collaboration with product management, engineering, creative services and the wider marketing team, including Brand & Content Marketing, Digital and Industry Marketing. Partner with Product Management and Sales to define the GTM strategy and work with the broader marketing team to align marketing initiatives with strategic product positioning and customer targeting across various markets. Integrate technical documentation into product launch plans and ongoing marketing programs to support sales, customer education, and go-to-market plans.
Ensure all product marketing and technical documentation reinforces each product's unique selling points, benefits, and applications in a way that resonates with each target audience. Support the global sales team with necessary competitive intelligence, product marketing materials, and additional support as required. Own the creation of high-quality technical content such as product documentation, solution briefs, whitepapers, and technical blog posts that articulate the benefits of our products. Gather customer feedback to inform marketing strategies, ensuring customer needs and perspectives are integrated into our Go-to-Market plans. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing and technical authoring team, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Report on product launch and product marketing activities including monthly/quarterly KPIs to the Exec and SLT teams. Nurture and leverage relationships with key industry thought leaders, influencers and key strategic customers and partners to help increase market awareness of Foundry tools.
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy for technical documentation, ensuring alignment with product features, user needs, and market trends. Responsible for setting clear objectives, defining audience personas, and overseeing the creation of user guides and more. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineering, marketing, creative services, global sales and senior management to align on product marketing and technical documentation strategies and plans. Foster collaboration between technical authors, product management, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure technical documentation is accurate, user-friendly, and consistent with our brand voice. Implement quality assurance processes, including peer reviews and user feedback loops, to continuously improve documentation effectiveness and user satisfaction. Support the team in setting clear goals and key results. Ensure that those are communicated and visible across the team and wider company.
*As part of our hybrid working policy, you will be working in our London office twice a week* Minimum of 8 years of product marketing experience in a B2B technology environment. Proven experience of successfully launching and managing multiple products. Strong understanding of the B2B software market and customer needs. Experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide team members in product marketing and technical authoring. Demonstrated experience in market analysis, segmentation, and targeting strategies that align with business goals. Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and marketing plans. Knowledge of the media and entertainment industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to evaluate market trends, product performance, and campaign effectiveness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across different levels of an organization and with external partners and customers.
