Montash are seeking a seasoned Product Manager for a prominent IT consultancy, adept at driving product innovation within agile multidisciplinary teams. Your role involves shepherding products through discovery, Alpha, beta, and live phases to enhance user experience and streamline service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality of products by framing problems and setting priorities based on user needs and business goals.
Define, iterate, and communicate a compelling product vision to users, teams, and stakeholders.
Champion user needs, manage backlog, document product knowledge, and communicate plans and progress.
Foster open and collaborative culture within multi-disciplinary teams for continuous product improvement.
Engage with users and stakeholders through various channels to encourage product awareness and use.
Present findings in simple, engaging business terms to diverse stakeholders.
Set measurable goals for products and report progress against stated benefits.
Actively participate in the product manager community, sharing learnings and celebrating progress.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in agile methodology and applying agile mindset to work.
Experience with User-Centered Design Services and successful project delivery.
Ability to work within given constraints (eg, technology, policy, regulatory).
Competency in securing funding for agile delivery and prioritizing spending.
Understanding of product delivery phases and managing products throughout life cycle.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and prioritize problems.
Familiarity with product management principles, user needs translation, and user story creation.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and understanding user needs.
Experience in designing and delivering digital products, particularly within government frameworks.
Collaboration and communication skills, especially with development teams.
Passion for learning new technologies and improving customer outcomes.
Desired Skills:
Experience participating in GDS assessments.
